  2. National Integration includes the following: Cultural Integration, Economic Integration, Political Integration, Religious Integration and Social Integration.
  3. Various reasons for economic inequality are Unemployment / Underemployment of People, Inflation, and Farmer Distress.
  4. Necessity of National Integration is the maintenance of peace and harmony, growth and development of the nation, law and order, culture and religious development, dignity and self-respect, and welfare and well-being of the people.
  5. Factors Affecting National Integration are Cultural Aspects, Political Motives, Lack of Education, Communalism, Casteism, Regionalism, Linguistic Fanaticism, Social Disparity, Economic Inequalities, Ethnic Conflicts, Tribal Identity, Corruption and Lack of Character.
  6. Measures to Achieve National Integration are Philosophy of Integration, Culture as a Unifying Factor, Promotion of Secularism, Role of Politics, Economic Unity, Dignity of Individuals, Socio-Economic Reforms, Education, Emotional Unity, National Language, Nationalism and Patriotism, Proper Use of Media, Political and Administrative Measures.
  7. Fundamentals of Unity in Diversity are Geographical Unity, Spirit of Religious Unity, Indian Philosophy, Ethnic Coexistence, Cultural Unity, Social Unity, Political Unity, and Emotional Unity.
